Garmin Express missed an activity when syncing but still sent most recent!!?

Hi,

Anyone able to help. I've got a 610 and Mac. Had no issues with the the ANT stick, syncing and Garmin Connect until now.
Recently done upgrade to El Capitan and upgraded Express to 4.1.16.
Although the syncing now seems to take way longer than it ever did it, all seemed fine, until this morning!
Just did a sync and on Connect it hasn't uploaded one of my activities.
It's uploaded my latest but not one from 3 days ago. Keep trying to resync but no change. I even got rid of the 'pendinguploads' folder in Library and trashed Express and reinstalled the latest (4.1.17)! but no change.

It's really irritating, can anyone shed light!!??

    I am sorry for the troubles. If it hasn't come off the watch in previous syncs then the watch itself cannot create a valid file from the data. It is corrupt and will have to be deleted from the History menu on the watch. The watch has to be able to create a valid file from the activity data, insert it in the PendingSyncUploads folder, then Express uploads it to Connect. The fact that you were able to sync an activity created after the one in question confirms that the watch cannot create a valid file to sync. It is best if you delete from the watch, all activities already uploaded to Connect. Keep the internal memory on the watch from getting full. Overtime the internal memory gets full which increases possibility of corrupt data.

    After removing all uploaded activities from the watch, try to resend the one activity that will not transfer. Monitor the PendingSyncUploads folder to see if a file is created. There is a small possibility that a file is being created but Connect is rejecting it. If this is the case it is probably still corrupt but you can try to manually upload it.

    • Click "+" icon in top right corner of page
    • Click Upload Your Activities
    • Click Manual Upload tab


    Forerunner 610 - Resend an Activity

    • Press MENU
    • Select History
    • Select Options
    • Select Upload
    • Select activity you want to upload
    • Select Yes


    If you continue to have troubles, delete the activity from the watch. Your future activities should continue to sync as before.
