Map purchase won't download

Purchased City Navigator Europe NT as download for nuvi 2597 US unit. Installed plugin on a Mac, and it stuck on "Preparing to update maps... Computer ready for download" for hours (with exclamation mark as an error symbol?).
Installed the communication plug in which recognized my device.
Any ideas?

I am sorry for the troubles. This was identified as an issue this afternoon. The IT department is working on it and should have a resolution sometime tomorrow. If you have any other questions please contact Product Support by phone.

He answered me yesterday which means tomorrow is today. To me the day is over (Atlantic time) and my flight is today, or tomorrow. Depends where you are.

And my answer above is much easier to navigate then what should have been simple download.

Anyway, it seemed they solved whatever it was. Wil see in a few minutes.
