Garmin 620 shuts off after saving an run and then when I sync to Garminconnect gone

This problem has happened to me several times, once for a race! I save my run data on my watch and then click done. Then my Garmin will suddenly power off by itself. There is plenty of battery charge so it is not that. Then when I go to synch my data on my Mac, it is gone. When I look at my history on the watch there is no history. It is erasing everything or really not saving it as it states it is after i push the save then done button. This is really frustrating. I have tried resetting the watch but this does not seem to help.
Any ideas how to correct this?

What you are describing seems to be an issue with the device itself and not Express. This forum is for Express specific related issues but I will try and help the best I can.

I have not heard of this specific issue before so I contacted the fitness team to do some research. From what I learned it would seem that this happens for the following reasons: corrupt activity, free space on the device, or some 3rd party program backing up data onto the device which again takes up space on the unit. I would recommend you contact product support and talk to the fitness team.
