Sync of my Forerunner 610 stopped working with Express 4.1.11.0

Hi,

i was updated to latest 4.1.11.0 version and afterward, my Forerunner610 stopped being able to sync: i get the message "transferring data" on the device, Express seems to be sync'ing, and then it enters crash loop and eventually displays "There was an error syncing with Garming Connect". Done. No explanations.

Something very fishy is happening. It used to work in same configuration (Wifi ok, Internet connection Ok, MacOS 10.10.5, etc.).

Basically, my device is now bricked.

I'm getting fed up by this 'lock in'. If Garmin software chain is somehow broken (and it happens often), i can't do anything with my logs. Not even dump them as text and deal with them on another site (RunKeeper, e.g.).

Please fix.

    I am sorry for the troubles. Sudden syncing issues unless related to a Connect outage tend to be a localized issue with data on the device or corrupt data failing to upload to Connect. I will suggest a couple of things that remove the problem data and hopefully resolve your sync issue.

    1. Power cycle the Forerunner 610 (hold light button until device powers off).
    2. Delete any Activities (History) from the device that have already uploaded to Garmin Connect.
    3. Delete the Forerunner 610 from Garmin Express and Connect then add it back again:

    Hi,

    thanks for the support. I tried to remove the device from Garmin Express. That worked.
    But now, when i try to add it back, it's just not detected ("seaching...", "Reading device information...", say Express. But then nothing happens).
    I also try to factory-reset the device, to no avail. It just can't communicate any longer with Garmin Express.

    Where do i find the previous version of Garmin Express (4.0.xxx i guess) ? That one worked ok...
