Garmin Approach S5 and El Capitan Public Beta 4 (10.11.2 Beta (15C47a))

I have updated my Approach S5 to 2.30 using Windows but it is still not recognized in El Capitan (I'm using 10.11.2 Public Beta 4). I'm very disappointed that I still have to kludge a work around to keep my S5 up to date. I've tried everything to get El Capitan to mount the S5 but no joy.

Approach S6 not recognized in El Capitan

Same thing here! USB connection not recognised since El Capitan installation.
Any comments from Garmin?! Or shall we get the "usual service" :-( ??!!

This issue was corrected with a system software update for the Approach S5 and S6 devices. Please refer to this forum thread for information on how to perform the update, post number 43:

Also, this was only tested on the full release of El Capitan, you may need to upgrade from the public beta to the full version of 10.11.
