Garmin Express doesn't recognize Garmin S6 after upgrade MAC 10.11 El Capitan

Hello,

I am a Mac User. My Garmin S6 was working fine with Garmin Express while running 10.10 from Mac. Then decided to upgrade to 10.11. Now my Garmin Express doesn't recognize it anymore but the dock is still charging the watch..

I have uninstalled / reinstalled the application, no changes. Then changed USB port nothing occurs. Then deleted in my profile my watch in Garmin Express. My watch was found but for few seconds later pop up from mac stating can't read the watch as a disk..

Any clues?

A case was created today on this issue and sent to our developers to investigate further. It appears to be limited to the Approach S6 device. There is no ETA on a resolution at this time. It is recommended to use a computer on a different version of the Mac OS X or a Windows PC.

Garmin S5 under El Capitan

Not only Garmin S6, but also Garmin S5 will not work with Garmin Express under El Capitan.

Thank you for the notification. We have duplicated the same issue with the Approach S5. All other Approach S devices connect to El Capitan with no problems. I have added the Approach S5 information to our case.

Problem with Garmin expres and Approach S6 after upgrade to Mac 10.11 El Capitain

After upgrade to 10.11 no communication was possible between Garmin Express and my S6. Also Garmin WebUpdater had the same problem.

Update to connection issue

I too am experiencing no connection with my S6 since upgrade to El capitan, as this issue was reported to Garmin on this thread several months ago is there an update?

No recognition of my S& since OS X El Capitan was updated

For Mac OS X users it is very important that Garmin works with the Beta versions of the software updates before they are released to the public. My Garmin S6 is not longer recognized by Garmin Express. Hope Garmin can solve this issue soon. Regards
