Config win 8.1, chrome.
i don't manage to be identified on Garmin express with the express last version.
Error message shown : as servers are unavailable, i cannot get identification,
I understand that you are receiving a Server Error when entering your username and password in Garmin Express when trying to pair your Forerunner 405. There are two FAQs for troubleshooting this issue but they have not been translated into French yet. You may be able to get them translated using an online translater.

If you continue to have problems, it would be best to contact Product Support by phone.
The problem may be caused by the time.
On my forerunner 405, the time is set to : 20:35. It's faulty because it's now 22:35.
How can I modifuy the time of the forerunner 405 in order to check if it's the cause or not ?
Another thing.
With your second answer, ther is a broken link :
the link : How do I verify that the time, date, and time zone settings are correct on my computer? does not exist.
The Forerunner 405 sets the time via the GPS signals so it sounds the Time Zone or DST (Daylight Savings Time) settings on the watch need to be changed. Go to Menu-->Settings-->Time. Select the correct Time Zone and check the DST setting.
The link to the article is valid. You can copy and paste the URL directly into your web browser or go to the Garmin Product Support page and click on the "View All FAQ's" link then enter the articles title in the Search bar.
How do I verify that the time, date, and time zone settings are correct on my computer?
Thanks for the link taht is still broken. It appears when the langage or country france is set.
If I choose United states as country, the link is ok.
This told, i still have the same problem.
"Un problème est survenu lors de la connexion au serveurs Garmin. Impossible de vous inscrire car nos serveurs ne sont pas disponibles pour le moment".
All the things needed are OK.
- last version if express
- a forerunner coupled with PC trough Ant agent
- firewall desactivated
- a high speed connection to the web
- an account recognized on garmin connect (two accounts in fact...)
So now are you sure that this problem is not due to Garmin express or your servers ?
I start to be fed up with this problem that i Can not explain.
Thanks for your reply

If Garmin Express displays the error message We are unable to add this device because our servers are unavailable at this time or Sorry, we're having a problem with communicating with our servers, follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
•Ensure that Garmin Express is up to date OK Update Garmin Express to the current version using the instructions in the FAQ How do I update Garmin Express?
•Internet Connection OK Ensure the Internet connection meets the system requirements for Garmin Express. A high-speed Internet connection is required. Garmin Express is not intended to be used with mobile broadband (such as MiFi, AirCard, or cell phone tethering), satellite, fixed wireless, or dial-up Internet connections.
•Computer Date and Time Settings OK Incorrect date and time settings on the computer can cause communication errors between Garmin Express and the Garmin servers. To adjust the date and time settings, use the instructions in the FAQ How do I verify that the time, date, and time zone settings are correct on my computer?
•Internet Security/Firewall OK Security programs can affect the communication between a computer and the Garmin servers. It may be necessary to disable any and all security programs to allow Garmin Express to communicate. Refer to the instructions provided by the application publisher to disable any security programs installed to the computer.
•Proxy/LAN Settings OK Incorrectly configured proxy and/or LAN settings may affect the connection between the Internet and Garmin Express.
Windows:
Press the Windows key on the keyboard
Type Internet Options
Click Internet Options
Click the Connections tab
Click LAN Settings
Select the box "Automatically detect settings"
Clear any boxes for use of a proxy server
Click OK, then OK again

Garmin Express should now be able to connect to the server.
I am sorry for the troubles. The issue is either with data on the watch or possibly trouble connecting through your Internet provider.
If you have completed the suggestion in the article and all that checks out, then you can try another computer and internet connection or you can try resetting the 405. Resetting the 405 will erase all the current data but it may restore the ability to add it to Express. You could also contact Garmin Product Support by phone and let them investigate the issue.
