Issues connecting to Garmin Express

Having issues connecting with Garmin Express. The 520 is not recognized at all on either of my PCs in Garmin Express. I can hear the audible tones that the system mounts it, but then hear the dismount shortly afterwards. When plugged in, the 520 automatically turns on. I have changed the USB ports the device is plugged in to, removing the hub and connecting directly to the front of the PC, with the same results as before. I have been able to connect the 520 to my Mac laptop, and it does work in Garmin Express on that unit. I have tried to reset the 520, but it always ends up turning back on when connected to the USB port, but still unrecognized. Anyone have any ideas on how to get Garmin Express to recognize it on the PC?

I had the same with my new Edge 520 (replacing the very buggy Edge 25 I bought a few weeks ago). I plugged in one of the cables hanging off my PC. Charging and starting but not installing drivers and not connecting. Then I used the USB/microUSB cable Garmin supplied with the unit. All good. HTH.
