Unable to update mapping

Hi there, I have been redirected to this forum from the 'Zumo Forums'

I have registered both my Zumo 660 and my wife's Nuvi 255, but having tried to update the mapping I get the same error message.
Both units are registered fine, both units are found and both are due updates, however once I click the update button, only a few minutes in to a hour long update I get the same message for both units 'there was an error installing updates' My PC is running windows 7, and has recently been upgraded so memory, speed and internet connection are as good as they can be, [ I am on Virgin fibre optic in the UK]

    I am sorry that you are having trouble updating your maps. I would recommend following the instructions in the FAQ What should I do if I am having problems downloading updates in Garmin Express? If this does not solve the problem, please contact Product Support by phone.

    Thank you for the quick reply
    I have looked at the FAQ, and none of the suggestions seem to be my problem. I have updated both units previously via Garmin website, on my current ISP and computer.
    The problem seems to be since I have tried to use Garmin Express, so I think a phone call to Product Support is needed.
