Garmin Express Not able to add device

Hi,

Has anyone faced this issue where the Garmin express recognizes the device but cant add them?

It detects it but says "we cannot add this device as our servers are busy at this time"

I have had this error every time i have tried adding the device. Is your servers always busy?
I re installed Garmin express but still no luck

Anyone knows a resolution for this?

    Garmin Express not able to add device

    I also have this problem. I bought a new Edge 20 for my wife. Garmin Express sees it but when we try to add it to her Garmin Connect account we get the same message that Garmin servers are down.
    She is on the latest mac OS, has the latest Garmin Express, and has been using it for the last 3 or so years with her Forerunner. We followed the advice of Garmin and checked the proxy settings. All as it should be. This only has arisen with the edge 20, and I suspect that Garmin have a problem they have not resolved with their software. Searching for a solution on the net has revealed nothing (except a large number of disgruntled Garmin users out there)

    I am sorry that you are having trouble adding the device. There are currently no issues with the Garmin Connect servers or Garmin Express that would cause a server error. I would recommend following the instructions in article in Lisa's link. Ensure that you are checking the time zone setting on the computer as this is the most common cause of server issues. Even if the time on the computer is correct, the time zone can be wrong.

    If these steps do not solve the problem, please contact Product Support by phone.

    perhaps that is nothing wrong with the servers. However, the sheer volume of users who report the same error clearly indicates there is a problem somewhere. Yes, we have followed the guidelines in Lisa's article, and yes the time zones are correctly set up. Garmin Express works quite fine with her Forerunner, it is the "add a new device" step that is flawed.
