We do not have an Express client that is compatible with XP any longer for fitness customers. We do however, provide the map updater client for use on XP machines for customers who need to perform map updates. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes you.
Who, if not Garmin, has a copy of Garmin Express v2.1.13.0 that I can download?
I'm not asking for XP Support, or Garmin support, simply the software that works with my Garmin device and my computer, in the way that it did when the device was first released.
You can still upload activities on Garmin Connect which is how the device worked when it was released. Fitness devices were not able to sync using Garmin Express until the beginning of 2014 when Express v3 was released. We do not have a legacy version of Garmin Express for PC and you would most likely experience issues with an older version if you were to install it.
virtue4u Since you have an older non-mass storage device, it would be best to get to a computer with supported operating system so that you can use Garmin Express.
Where can I find an old Garmin Express version, which can works with windows XP?
Greetings, Miquel
Yes, come on Garmin, you can't tell me you really haven't got an XP-compatible version of Garmin Express in your archives. We don't want support on it, we just want to use last version before you withheld XP users from updating their maps. And it's no use saying that I should use Mapupdater because that doesn't work either.
For your information my OS is Windows XP Professional with service pack 3 and all updates supplied by Microsoft.
Prior to my retirement I worked for a significant software company and we ALWAYS kept archives of earlier versions for the benefit of those, who for whatever reason, had a need to remain on earlier OS versions - yes, even going back to Vax VMS, Apollo and Primos. Garmin, it seems to me, seem to think that they "know what is best for the customer, but how can they?
