Forerunner 205 connects to Garmin Express - but says the "device is not compatible"

Hi there,

I have newly installed Garmin Express on my Win 7 PC - and connected the Forerunner 205 via a usb cable - and the serial number is identified - so it connects properly. However - the interface tells me that the "device is not compatible"? What is the issue here?

I would suggest updating the software on the device to see if this will correct the issue. If it does not, please contact support.
