Garmin Express Can't install or uninstall or run or anything...

So much like everyone, I haven't used updated my maps in sometime because well, GPS stays in the car.

Figured after a year + I should update it.

Attempted to run Garmin Express, indicated that it required an update and after 2 hours + it wouldn't finish updating. So I had to shut down the computer and figured I'd try again, by either uninstalling the original install from over a year ago, or trying the update again. So tried running Garmin express and I get a

This error occurs when I try to download the express and run the program AND when trying to uninstall it.. I'm stuck... Someone help lol

If you are still unable to update the map with Garmin Express, contact Garmin Product Support by phone.

This problem is there after every version of Garmin Express

Dear Curt,

When is Garmin Express going to be programmed to let the user know he or she has to update something before Garmin, Express will work?

If Garmin Express is programmed correctly:

Any programs that require it will either prompt you telling you that you need to install it before the program will run or they will install it for you.

That goes for any other program that needs to be installed to get Garmin Express to work correctly.

Distributing the .NET Framework with DeployMaster

DeployMaster is capable of detecting the presence of the Microsoft .NET framework, and install it if necessary. For installation, you can bundle the .NET framework redistributable for the version of .NET that your application needs with your installer. DeployMaster automatically runs it as part of the installation, as needed.

If most of your customers already have the framework installed, you can choose not to distribute it. Instead, put the URL http://www.deploymaster.com/dotnetfx.html as the download URL in the installer. When using this URL, DeployMaster automatically adds a parameter to the URL to indicate the version you've specified in the installer. If the framework is not present, the setup program generated by DeployMaster prompts the user to download and install the framework. When the user clicks this URL in the installer, only one of the downloads below is shown. Since you didn't click on a link in the installer, all the downloads are shown.
