Garmin 910XT Power off during sync

At least 3 out of 4 times when I attempt to sync with Garmin express (all up to date) my 910 will poweroff before completing the sync process. I see a new version came out the other day but no mention of this problem. Other posts say that Garmin is having trouble tracking it down. I'm really tired of this and would do anything I could to help solve it.

Running windows 7 and latest garmin express. 910 is at version 3.0.0.

    That is correct, we have been unable to duplicate this issue. Please contact Product Support by phone so that we can gather the information necessary and troubleshoot.

    yep, quite annoying.
    Buying a new Garmin?
    No, cannot replicate that behaviour...

    Just upgraded my 910xt to the latest version today and guess what, it powers off during syncing.😞

    I am sorry for the troubles. I encourage you to contact Garmin Product Support so the issue can be investigated by the Fitness Team. In the meantime if you have a Heart Rate Monitor you can try keeping that on and connected to the 910XT during the data transfer so the watch doesn't go to sleep or inadvertently power off.
