Cant upload to Garmin connect with Edge 500

My edge 500 cant upload to Garmin Connect anymore. I was forced to update to Garmin Express, it sees my Edge 500 after around 5 mins waiting then says unable to connect to servers. This is useless, why cant I just manually upload the file anymore? Or continue to use the previous software to sync to Garmin Connect. I think I'll stick to using Strava and look at another brand bike computer in the future.

Please see the FAQ article:What should I do if I am unable to sync my mass storage fitness device using Garmin Express? It includes instructions to manually upload from the Edge as part of the troubleshooting process.

The JSP error is a java error, typically caused by an out of date browser or stored/cached data. Try clearing your cache/history and verify there are no updates for your browser. I have a link here to our FAQ on how to clear the cache but if it also produces a JSP error, you can Google the title to locate the FAQ.

How do I clear my browser history, cache, and temporary Internet files?

As for the server error, try our FAQ What should I do if I receive a server error while using Garmin Express?
