Cannot download map on brand new Oregon 650

Hi all

Recently purchased an Oregon 650 (with no maps), then purchased Topo Spain. Installed Garmin Express (Windows 8). Tried loads of times to download, however the download gets to 50% and then bombs out. Looked at FAQs and made suggested changed to Window temp folder and IE. Still same problem. Going to Spain tomorrow - help!

Any help appreciated :)

I am sorry for the troubles. Please see the FAQ: What should I do when having issues downloading Downloadable Content?
Generally the second 50% is when the files are being copied from the Temp folder to the device. Make sure the Oregon is connected to a USB port directly on the back or side of the computer. Avoid any external USB hubs, extenders, keyboard USB ports etc.. If you continue to have troubles I suggest you contact Garmin Product Support by phone.
