Garmin 510 Edge Not being Recognized

Hi,

I have had no issues with my Garmin Edge 510 to date. However when I plug in my unit through the USB cable and/or also try and use the ANT plug in as well I have an issue. I have the current version of Garmin Express installed. When I try and sync, it is not recognizing/finding the device. It just spins and spins. Says device not found. This for Windows.

I have tried this on 2 separate PC's with the same results.

    The Edge 510 does not communicate with the computer via the ANT stick. It is a mass storage device. Please use the FAQ below to determine if the computer is detecting the Edge. If so, make sure Garmin Express is up to date. Remove the Edge from Garmin Express then add it back again.

    FYI, after about an hour on the phone, cold re-set, etc.... we finally figured out the USB cable was bad. Guess we should have checked the simplest thing first :)
