Hi. Trying to update the UK and Ireland maps on my Nuvi 255 to latest version (2016.10?). Unfortunately only gets up to about 50% and then freezes, or status bar starts jumping up and down wildly.....never had this problem before. Any solution? Cheers:)
I believe there was an issue with your device left over from a previous update which I corrected. Please remove the device from Garmin Express, restart your computer, then add it back and try again. If you continue to have troubles please contact Garmin Product Support by phone.
I was hoping you wouldn't have to do this but if you uninstall / reinstall Garmin Express it should work for you. There are left overs in the Express install causing the problem.
How do I completely uninstall Garmin Express?
If that doesn't work it would take a call to support to full investigate the issue.
