Are Garmins servers ever avaliable or is it just me that can never connect I've been trying to add my new Edge all day and i just keep getting a message saying we can't find this device as out servers are unavailable am I doing something wrong?

    Well why won't Garmin Express find my 1000 it finds my old edge 800 fine.....

    Is your Garmin Express on the latest version? There were updates to it the past couple days.

    I'm pretty sure there's only one server for all types of devices, so if it finds the edge 800 the server should be up.

    There is an Edge 1000 on your account but it looks like the initial sync was not complete. I recommend you delete the device from Garmin Express then login to your Garmin Connect account through a web browser and delete the EDGE 1000 from the account. Normally you can remove it from both when deleting from Express but in this case use the instructions to double check the device is gone.

    1. Login to your account
    2. Click the menu icon on the left (three lines)
    3. Click Devices
    4. Click the Edge 1000
    5. Click the gear icon in the upper right
    6. Click Remove
    7. Logout of the account.

    Once it is gone from Garmin Connect and Express, restart your computer then add the device again. I was able to test your device against our database and there were no problems. Make sure your Profile on the device is setup with the correct information before you add it again. If you continue to get a Garmin Server error I suggest you contact Garmin Product Support by phone.
