I have to say this "sticky" is a massive let down in view of the posts from your CUSTOMERS and you should take it down.
https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?237825-Express-syncing-explained-Lack-of-a-sync-button
I've just spent 2 hours on my Sunday evening getting two events to sync from my 310XT.
Of course Express "doesn't need" a sync now button except, let me see now, maybe it does on the odd occasion sync fails? Did you consider that?
Well, since you won't do us the honour of allowing us a sync now button, we have to do this:
1) Ignore ALL postings / recommendations from Garmin customer service
2) If you listen to them you're just wasting your life, and Garmin don't seem to car how many thousands (millions?) of user hours they waste
3) Set the device to transfer all
4) As this can take a long time its best to delete manually activities already on Connnect
5) Restart Express - haha the irony of the name
Those of you with some common sense and/or IT experience will recognise the procedure I've outlined above is remarkably similar to, what I call, a force re-sync function. Only, see "sticky" link above, we don't need that right?
All us hundreds (thousands?) of dissatisfied customers are all wrong; didn't install the software right; didn't do the reset right; blah blah blah.
So, in the absence of a useful sync now button, or force re-sync button, please try the steps above, and have a nice day.
PS: Garmin, perhaps you are able to interpret some subliminal, subtle product feature / customer service improvement request from this posting?! I live in hope...
