Nothing to sync right how

I get the message, "nothing to sync right now" even though there are several activities saved on my Garmin Forerunner 210. I've tried automatically syncing via Garmin Express, and using the sync button on Garmin Connect. I'm on a laptop running Windows 8.1. Any suggestions?
