Garmin Express - Not finding 220

Installed Garmin Express - didn't find a Forerunner 220

220 itself plugs in, charges fine. Can download the .fit files, works with Garmin Communicator.

Tried reinstalling usb drivers - makes no difference. On windows 8.1.

What gives?

I am sorry for the troubles. When Express is searching for the 220 it is looking for a file called GarminDevice.xml inside the Garmin folder. If this file is has corrupt data in it Express will not see the watch. Try deleting the GarminDevice.xml file from the watch then eject and disconnect it. Power the watch off then connect it to the Mac. It will power on and show up in Computer. Open Express then try to add it again.
