I have had a look through as many threads as I could before getting horrifically square eyes and a boggled brain, so hoping someone can either point me in the right direction, or otherwise give me a solid suggestion for how to remedy the problem, as it is sending me a little loopy now...
Noticed last week after attempting to sync my 910XT that it didn't seem to want to do it - there was no data transfer bar appearing at all despite being in range of the ANT+ stick (device was on the desk approximately 6 inches from my laptop/USB drive). Thought very little of it after successfully pushing through the sync/upload by going to the 'TRANSFER ALL' option on the device menu.
This weekend I did a three-day marathon and have gone to upload/sync all of the workouts in one go. Despite initially going through the 'transferring data' protocol on the device screen, nothing has appeared on my Connect. I have tried plugging in via the cable, but the device does not appear on My Computer. Also attempted a soft reset and re-downloading the ANT software, updating the device software and restarting laptop three times.
Also tried doing a dummy workout, starting a session and letting the stopwatch run for a minute or so - I had a couple of faint glimmers of hope when the data transfer bar appeared on the device screen, but again nothing has synced or uploaded.
Any thoughts or suggestions? All of the forum responses I have seen have been remedying different problems, or suggesting things that I cannot do (like finding the program data folder in the C drive of my PC...I apparently don't have this?!)
