help - I keep getting the following error. now deleted all but one activity and that doesn't want to load.

TypeError: Unable to get property 'getElementsByTagName' of undefined or null reference

That is generally an error seen in a web browser. Can you elaborate on which device your using and what you are doing when you receive the error?

I am using a Garmin forerunner 310xt and internet explorer. I am trying to sync it using garmin express (that doesn't work) and garmin connect - upload (that's when I see the error)

If you have Garmin Express installed and the Forerunner 310XT paired with it then there is no need to use Internet Explorer when syncing data up to Garmin Connect. Please follow the suggestions below:

    1. Update Garmin Express to 4.0.25 released today. This has resolved some similar sync issues.
    2. Go through the History menu on the 310XT and delete any activity that is already uploaded to Connect and older than 30 days.
    3. Delete .fit files from the computer. Use the instructions in the FAQ: How do I remove FIT files that fail to sync in Garmin Express from my computer?

As a last resort Master Reset the Forerunner 310 XT.
