Uploading a Course to 910XT gives "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect"

Hi,
I have 2 courses in my Garmin Connect; one is from a Hiking Trek that I did and saved as a course, and one is a Trek done by someone else that I imported it into my Garmin Connect.
In Garmin Connect (when I had the respective courses showing their details) I clicked on “Send to Device” and I now see that Garmin Express (software version 4.0.24.0) has these 2 courses uploaded and ready to send to my Garmin 910XT (software version 3.20).
In Garmin Express it says “ You Have Items Ready to Install”. Clicking on “View Details” shows me the two courses waiting to be uploaded to my Garmin 910XT but clicking on “Install All” results in a message saying “There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect”. I have had several attempts to send these two courses and I can see that Garmin Express and my Garmin 910XT do link up (the “Transferring Data” message comes up on my Garmin 910XT) but the link terminates after only a second or so and the error message comes up in Garmin Express.
I've tried to attach a composite picture of the two screen shots of the Garmin Express message.
My questions are :
(i) Is there a likely reason for this problem and a possible fix ?
(ii) Regardless of an answer to the above, given that Garmin Express is struggling to send these courses to my Garmin 910XT, how do I delete them from Garmin Express ? eg. is there a file somewhere in a queue waiting to be sent that I can delete ?
Thanks for any advice you can provide.

I am sorry for the troubles. If the Course you imported was a .gpx file then it will not send as a Course to a device. Garmin Connect cannot send a Course created from a imported .gpx file. In order to send the Course you would need to create the Course manually in Garmin Connect then send it. Please delete it from the Sync menu on the left in Connect or all future transfers will fail. The Connect Team is aware of this issue and working on a solution.

    Curt,
    Many thanks for that advice.
I'm just trying to find how to follow your instruction "Please delete it from the Sync menu on the left in Connect".
I can't see a sync menu in Garmin Connect. Can you advise where I should be looking.
    Thanks again. Cheers, Hugh

    Hi Curt,
Found the Sync button in Garmin Connect.
Many thanks for that - much appreciate the fast response and helpful advice.

PS. Look forward to the fix that lets you import courses from external parties :)
