Let's try this again then, and please don't delete this thread:
1. I apparently had to install Garmin Express to transfer workouts to my 405. So I install the software (not that I wanted to).
2. It asks me to have the ANT stick inserted. It is. Software installs fine.
3. I start Garmin Express. It asks for a device to pair. It scans and finds my 405.
4. It says I have to link my account to it, so I choose "Sign In" and enter my information, and then I get the same message 23 million other users appear to be getting:
"There was a problem connecting to the Garmin servers" (so far it doesn't sound like there's anything wrong on our end)
"We're unable to sign you in because our servers are unavailable at this time". (see above)
So what do I do here?
No activities saved on watch (I always haD them auto-deleted after transfer).
