Vivofit: There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect

I can only sync once. Every other sync results in "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect". Sync only works on my iPhone.
Tried disabling bluetooth on the iphone, removing and adding the device in garmin express. All without results.
  • On the vivofit, you can only be paired with your iPhone or Express but not both at the same time. If you want ot use the ANT+ stick and Express, you would have to unpair with the iPhone and then go through the pairing process with Express.

    The manual claims you can pair with multiple devices. If I disable bluetooth on the iPhone the vivofit can't sync with the iPhone.
    How could I unpair the device?
  • A vivofit can be paired with a smart device using Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) app and a computer using Garmin Express at the same time. It is just the syncing of data that cannot be performed by both applications at the same time.
