Best Garmin model for navigating in the city surrounded by tall buildings?

I have an old Garmin nüvi 1250 (car GPS) that I like but it loses its position in the city and gives inaccurate directions when surrounded by tall buildings. I've read that the same problem exists for newer models (e.g., nüvi 2597) and for those of other manufacturers as well but is there a Garmin model that is better at avoiding this problem than others?
