Multiple windows accounts on same computer can access each others connect accounts

So, my girlfriend and I have our own separate windows accounts on our computer. I have a Fenix3 (which I will return if Garmin doesn't solve the problems with that model) and an old FR305. My girlfriend has a FR210.
Now that we both started to use Garmin Connect and Garmin Express we noticed that both of us get a list of all three watches in GE. On my windows account I can click on her 210 and also open garmin connect logged in as her. Likewise, she can click on my fenix3 and get into my connect account.
Does this happen for anyone else? Can someone from Garmin comment on this?

Garmin Express is designed to be available to all Users on the computer. All device data is stored in the %ProgramData% folder which is accessible by all Users.

I can't even begin to fathom the stupidity... That's just incredibly stupid. Really.
What you are saying is basically this: "Garmin express is designed to allow any user on the computer to login to YOUR Connect account without having to enter any password. It is designed to let anyone delete your activities and change your settings on your Connect account"

User data, which in this case would include account info and the specific devices the user has added, should go into either %APPDATA% or %LOCALAPPDATA%. That is the standard windows way of storing data. Implementing it the correct way would not have taken many minutes even by a mediocre software engineer. Given that GE stores some config data in
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Garmin_Ltd._or_its_subsid\express.exe_Url_44vgoklnmwzol3f5bx0zhrwgflwejvvx\4.0.19.0\user.config I would venture to say it's written in some .NET language. So a hint to the SE's would be to checkout SpecialFolder.LocalApplicationData or SpecialFolder.ApplicationData.

Some shared data can be stored in %ProgramData% (SpecialFolder.CommonApplicationData) of course, but any user data should go into one of the other folders.

Also, now that I have you "on the line", can you please give an update on the status of the Fenix 3 firmware update that is hoped to fix the GPS accuracy and distance problems?

My activities show up on my boyfriends garmin connect dashboard. Does that happen with you as well?

If activities from your fitness device are showing up in another account re-enter your credentials in Express. Select the device in Express, click Tools, then Change Account. Re-enter your credentials for Connect. Make sure the web browser is closed when you upload an activity or use the profile icon on the left in Connect to sign out of your boyfriends account. Using the Garmin Connect - View your activities on Garmin Connect menu to automatically take you to your activities might not switch connect accounts if your boyfriend is signed in to his.

    @ Luddet,

    This goes beyond stupidity.

I find the programing skills at Garmin pathetic.

Simple things you learn in school about programming they do not adhere to.

Like I have said in the past they are trying to get Garmin Express to work on every platform device and It will never work.

They need to simplify it and break it down into smaller programs for each device type.

Be it Nuvi, Health & Fitness, Cycling, Swimming and Action Cameras.

With a menu showing all the device types.

You then pick which device you have set the path for the info.

Even if you have more than one device.

Be it one Nuvi a Forerunner and maybe a Edge.

But Garmin has to think outside the box.........

And stick to the rules of programming!!!!!!!!!!
