Forerunner 310xt stopped syncing after new release of GE 4.0.21.0

On Saturday 23rd May 2015 I did 3 runs. First two synched ok, but third run on 23rd, and two runs on 24th will not sync. I suspect it is related to the latest update of Garmin Express - 4.0.21.0

I tried to delete and readd the device, reboot my PC, flag all the activities on the watch to to retransmit.

When I do this GE starts to download then comes up with a red message says it is having problems connecting with out servers. Then I need to reauthenticate with my email/pwd, then nothing happens.

Any suggestions to get my activities loaded please?

    I'm getting exactly the same problem. I've tried all the solutions listed on some other threads about syncing, but to no avail. I've spent a huge amount of time trying to sort it!!
    Why does this happen almost every time there is an "upgrade"?

    This continued issue with Garmin would put me off getting another one.

    The reauthentication message can be corrected by deleting the sync folder in the following path:
    C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\CoreService\Devices\UnitID\Sync

    Be advised the "UnitID" folder will be the numbers of your devices UnitID. If you continue to have problems, please contact support.

    Thanks Albert - that actually worked! Could have saved a lot of time if the update had dealt with it automatically though, or had some message explaining this might happen and what to do - it does seem that Garmin users are treated like Guinea pigs sometimes :(
