Fenix 3. Won't synch via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The amount of time and effort spent troubleshooting this issue has far exceeded the benefit of the application. Based on a quick oveview of the forum it looks like this is not an uncommon problem.
I am sorry for the troubles. There is a known issue with the Edge 705 receiving Courses from Garmin Connect. The Garmin Connect team is aware of the issue and working on a resolution. Again, I am sorry for the troubles.
My Edge 705 has been working perfectly, but suddenly stopped syncing new courses. It downloads my ride history just fine, so I know the USB link is good.
Please see the response to oizukilemon in the posts above. Unfortunately the issue is with Garmin Connect and has not been resolved. At this time there is no work around for sending Courses to the Edge 705.
so i have had this problem where garmin express will not download any new rides i make on connect to my Garmin edge 1000,
i have had this problem now for around 3 months..
i have contacted support and have completed everything they asked me to, yet it still will not download any new courses to my device
so i am now using ride with gps, only using the free account, but designing a rout is as easy as it is with connect,
then download as a tcx or gpx file and put into the new files folder in the garmin unit directory.. i now use tcx file as it gives me a bit more detail and warning when using the route, and i really like it.
This is actually a really great option if you are having this syncing problem, and to be honest i like the tcx files so much more, i might actually stay with these guys for all my routes, plus you cna search other routes that people have made or completed and download their route as a tcx file to use... Really good stuff...
