Problem installing CN EU 2016.10

My Nuvi 2595 doesn't like the update through Express, tried using all three installation options :(
  • Downloaded to my PC and nuvi within an hour. What error messages are you getting?

    "There was an error installing this update" is all I see in a red background in Garmin Express.

    Do you have a SD card installed with a previous map?

    I am sorry for the troubles. There appeared to be an issue with the product key that is generated for the 2016.10 update. I have removed it so another can be generated. Please remove your device from Garmin Express, restart the computer, then add it back again. Let us know if you continue to have troubles.

    Express may hold on to the bad product key even after you remove the device and add it back. You would get the same error after the Downloading stage. If this happens, uninstall and reinstall Express. That will clear the old product key and allow it to use the new one.

    Downloading for the last few hours which is a big improvement on yesterday, so looking good :)

    Im having the exact same problem - can you please tell me how to delete the key so it can be re-generated? have uninstalled express but still same issue

    You may be getting a similar error but there's no real way to tell unless we are able to look up the logs. Just in case this is the exact same thing I have gone ahead and cleaned up the account product keys. I have removed your 2016.10 map update and made sure your 2015.40 is the current map on your device. Please delete the device from Express and re add it. Once this is done Express should prompt you for a new map update.
