Vivoactive Garmin Express multiple errors

I'll start by saying that my Garmin Express is updated to the most recent version. So now the problems:

1. I can not install update 2.90. I get a message stating "! There was an error installing the update."

2. I can not manage apps. When I try, I get the message, "Server Error We're having trouble communicating with our servers"

3. Worst of all, any apps, data fields, or widgets are all uninstalled.

I was experiencing no issues with Garmin Express until a little bit ago. Update 2.80 installed no problem, and no problems with apps, widgets, or data fields. Then a couple of days ago, I started noticing these problems one by one.

Is anyone else out there experiencing these issues?

Does anyone know what is wrong?

Does anyone know how to solve the problems?

    Same Here!

I just got my Garmin Vivoactive today in the mail....un-boxed it and tried to sync it to my Garmin account VIA Express and it responds with Server Issues Prompt. Glad to know I am not the only one! Saves me time troubleshooting my network! LOL

    Cheers,

I too just received my Vivoactive today and I cannot get it to sync with either my Samsung Galaxy Note 4, an iPhone 6, a Google Nexus 5, or even with Garmin Express. I'm puzzled as to what to do. I've searched the forum and have come up empty, especially when you consider that everything I have is up to date on both the watch and phones/computer. Ugh.

Luckily, Garmin connect phone app and web based are still working for me and syncing with my phone. (for now :-\ ) I use a Galaxy s3.

How is everything up to date if you can't get a sync with connect or with express? What firmware are you running?

Hopefully it is just a temporary issue. I've had my watch for around a month now, and everything was fine until a couple of days ago. Let's hope that they fix the issue. (why is there no emoji for keeping your fingers crossed?)

Error seems to have been solved for me. One tip is to make sure that your data connection is at its fastest. Apparently, Garmin Express looks to see how fast your connection is and will give you an error if it does not like the speed at that moment. I reset the connection on my router and plugged in directly to an ethernet cable instead of using its wireless signal, just to be sure. It did the trick. Kind of silly that one has to do that. Would also be nice if told the specifics of the "communication trouble". Needless to say, 2.90 update is way better than 2.80. Good luck guys.
