Vivofit 2 device registration failure.

Just bought my new Vivofit 2 and is unable to register via phone or through Garmin Express. First tried through Garmin Express and states "There was a problem connecting to Garmin servers". Un-installed, re-installed and checked for program updates and still not able to connect. So i tried through mobile device, HTC One M7. Shows on details when connecting that the device is connected, checked device registration, reads device identification file but fails to register device and disconnects from bluetooth. States "Device registration failed. OTHER_FATAL". But when i tried with my original Vivofit, doesn't seem to have any problems and syncs and connects right away. Please need help asap.
