There was a problem connectin to the Garmin servers

Tried to set up a brand new Garmin Vivofit 2 today.

Tried it on three different Pc's, downloaded latest garmin express package. Express is installing fine, it finds the vivofit 2 fine, but when I try to add the device to an excisting account I get this damn error:
There was a problem connectin to the Garmin servers" (servers not available at this time)

When I log in via connect.garmin.com there is no problems.

I received my Vivofit2 today and am unable to fully set it up due to this issue.

Not a great way to start my experience with Garmin, neither the express nor the mobile app on my Galaxy S5 will let me set my Vivofit2 up.

Eager for resolution.
