Garmin Express broken, device stated at not supported

I have a Garmin nüvi 2598LMT-D, I've had it for a year now and not had any problems updating maps and software with Garmin Express up until this point, there must have been a recent update to Garmin Express that has messed up detecting my device properly and won't update it. The last time I update my maps and stuff was earlier this year, maybe January - March time, and no problems as you would expect. I'll include screenshots to the problem. Not only that, it's wanting me to download Garmin Map Updater because my device is apparently not supported (which it is), I tried downloading it, it came back with an error. So I went to the Garmin Website to try to re-download Garmin Express, it says that "Garmin Express is not compatible with your operating system. You will need to upgrade your OS to use Garmin Express.", which again, is incorrect, I click learn more, it says I am on Mac OS X 10.6, which most certainly is incorrect, I've tried the same thing on Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer, which obviously using Internet Explorer, you would expect that message not to pop up, but it does and still thinks I am on Max OS X 10.6. I'm actually on Windows 7. I've tried clicking the Download for Windows Button at the bottom of the page, it takes me to the page where it says "Your download should begin automatically...", I've tried clicking 'Restart The Download', but nothing. Below are some screenshots which I hope you find useful.
