I know others have posted this, but I'm starting a new thread so Garmin can easily see how many people are affected. This was not a problem a month ago. I plug in my Edge 500 and Garmin Express shows a green light and says it has synced, but the new activity is not uploaded at all. This is with version 4.0.20.0
On my laptop, which still has version 3.2.29.0, everything works just fine. Plug in the Edge and almost instantly the new activity uploads, usually faster than I can even open a browser to go look at Garmin Connect or Strava.
Obviously something wrong with the new version of the software. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, even tried installing older version, but new version keeps forcing itself on me even after I turn off "automatically update this software."
Two emails of suggestions from Garmin Tech support didn't help. They want me to call, and I will, but don't know when I can take time off work to do that, so I'm posting here just for their information.
