Disable automatic firmware update with Garmin Express

Hello.

I have Edge 705 and I don't want to update my current 3.10 firmware to 3.30 version because it doesn't support Russian in menu and more important on maps. But Garmin Express put new "gupdate.gcd" every time I connect my device to PC to sync it with Garmin Connect.
Is it possible to disable this automatic update?

Unfortunately there is no way to stop this update since it is considered a critical update.

    Thank you for answer Jason.
I think that is not user friendly, Garmin doesn't provide full localization support, but force firmware updates, which make device almost unusable. Why owners must go to authorized dealers to simply update firmware? Why not to publish this firmware on site? Why English firmware available to anyone but not localized one? I haven't used my Edge 705 for a while and was pleasantly surprised that it's still supported and new "Connect" site also made a good impression. Until I found that mandatory firmware upgrade which ruined all good impressions. Personally, I think twice before buying another Garmin product.

    I agree with you.

With users from all over the world Garmin needs to give users the option to bypass any update they choose is not in the interest of that user's device.

Garmin needs to even have the forum setup so users can post in there language also.
