New Edge 510 cannot synchronize!

Hi

I'm the owner of the Edge 510 and am struggling with the following:

1. Currently running version 3.2, and am unable to update to V3.5. Instead I get the following message when updating
There was an error installing the update



2. Cannot synchronizing any courses, and receive the following error message
Sorry, we having a problem syncing with our servers


I have checked the integrity of disk and it's verified with no errors.
I currently have 496kb free (out of a total 22mb) and not sure if the limited space is a problem. If so what can I delete?

I've owned the unit for 1 week and may have to return it if these are unit defects

    Sorry about the trouble you are having with your device. The v3.50 software update is around a 9.50MB file so if only 496KB is free on the device that will cause the update to error.

    I would check the files/folders in the device to see if anything out of place is there, such as information that the computer may have stored assuming the device was a backup drive.

    If you do not see anything obvious, I would recommend calling product support for additional troubleshooting.

    Problem resolved :)
    I deleted the GUPDATE.GCD file to create more space. Installed the update and so far everything else is synchronising.
