Downloading Purchased Maps No Go

Hi,
Can anyone help me please.
I have a Garmin Nuvi 52LM and I live in Australia so it has come with Aussie and NZ maps and has lifetime free map upgrades which works well.
I have purchased Europe NT Uk/Ireland maps and I cannot get them to download onto my Nuvi for the life of me. I have tried numerous times :(
