I have GE open and running. It says the ant stick is connect. My FR 310XT is on and about 6 inches from the ant stick. The older GE had a button and I would click it to force it to sync but how do I force it now? Everything is just sitting there. It synced yesterday with this new GE and I have neither added nor deleted anything since then.
If the Forerunner 310XT has activities in the History folder that have not synced with Garmin Connect I suggest you start by following the steps in the FAQ article below first.
What troubleshooting options can I try when my ANT enabled fitness device will not upload data?
If the issue continues use the Mode-->History-->Transfer All option on the watch to resend all the activities on the 310XT. It is strongly recommended that no more than 30 days worth of activities remain on the watch at any one time to prevent the watch from running low on memory. Delete activities that have already been uploaded to Connect before using the Transfer All option
You may also need to clear out any files that Connect will not accept as part of the sync process. Express stores files in a folder on the computer before uploading them to Connect. Please use the FAQ: Where do my activities go on the computer before they are uploaded to Garmin Connect? Technically this folder should be empty. If there are any files in it then you can try to manually upload them. If the file name is just a number without the .fit extension, add the extension before you Import it into Connect. Use the steps in the FAQ: How do I manually upload data from USB Mass Storage devices to Garmin Connect? to manually Import to Connect. In Step 7 you will browse to the folder identified in the first FAQ instead of an actual USB device. Regardless if Connect accepts the file(s) in the folder they should be removed as not to interfere with future syncing.
The folder location mentioned in an above post is where files are saved on the computer after a successful sync. These do not need to be removed. Let us know if you continue to have troubles.
