Impossible to update maps

Hello.
I've tried dozens of times to update the Europe CycleMap on my new Edge 1000 but at every attempt Garmin Express tell me a longer time is required: from 3 hours at the first attempt (understandable as it is a 6Gb file) to 26 hours at the last attempt right now.
Every time, after downloading something for twenty minutes and so on, it stops reporting an error.
I've already tried disabling my antivirus and firewall but in any case I'm sure Garmin Express can access internet because for software update it had no problem.
Any help?

I am sorry for the troubles. I have double checked the Edge 1000s entry in the database and the update is assigned and available. Please see the FAQ: What should I do if I am having problems downloading updates in Garmin Express? If you continue to have network issues please contact Garmin Support in your region or your ISP to inquire about any restrictions being implemented on the download.
