Ok, upgraded to Garmin Express 3.0 and now there is no longer a button in the software to click on Sync, since upgrading I have had nothing but trouble uploading activities. When it does not sync I would still like to be able to manually start the sync, is there something I am missing in the new update. The interface is ok, but we lost a few features that are need including sync button or resync...
The new version looks good, but you have either hidden or removed some key functionality. How about a button that allows me to sync on demand, rather than having to hang around my computer before the ANT+ picks it up.
Sometimes the interval between syncs is too long, and I would like a 'sync now' button. Sometimes quitting the app and restarting it works, other times I have to turn bluetooth off and on again, but we shouldn't have to do this.
Seriously. No sync now button? My 910xt likes to turn itself off in the middle of an upload about half the time I upload and now I can't even restart the upload? This sucks.
I second that. This is an essential feature. Given Garmin Connect is all but reliable, this feature is a MUST.
I did a transfer at 2:50PM and it failed due to Garmin Connect being down. at 6:30PM it still wasn't auto-uploaded. I had to force it with my 910XT using Transfer All Activities' which is not really what you want to do when you have more than a handful. I did that 2 days ago with a couple hundred activities, it took more than 3h of constant transfer.
Oh and of course as mentioned above. My 910XT also likes to go into some kind of infinite loop upload and shutting itself down. (if that helps anyone I have found that sometimes adding another activity helps, like a 10s nothing, and then do a reset)
