310XT and latest update of Garmin Express - Can't transfer data anymore

Exactly the same here. Did some research on twitter, we are not the only one.
Answer form Garmin is that there is no sync button anymore and that it should sync as long as there is a new activity and the 310 is in range. There is, and it is, but is doesn't sync.
Done the reboot etc as well.

I have just reinstalled Garmin Express and that did the job for me, so it works for me at this moment.

So I have been going round this and other forums for an answer on this but I am still no closer to getting my fix! I'm hoping someone from Garmin can help here??

History : I have a 310XT - not been used for around 6 weeks, 22nd feb was my last activity, due to injury but was working fine then - recording and data transfer all worked great. In fact all I did was put my 310 on charge near my comp the ANT stick was in the comp as always and I got a bing on my phone saying it had linked with Strava and inputted my ride! I was very impressed.

Today and Issue : I went for a ride last weekend and last night so 2 new activities, when I went to upload and review my data this a.m nothing would sync. I have since completely wiped the computer clear of all things Garmin and re-installed all the plug-ins etc and run it through IE as Chrome doesn't seem to be excepted any more. Garmin Express tells me I have nothing new to upload - clearly I do! So I tried starting the timer for 10 secs and then stopping it and reset the watch to fake an activity - Garmin found that "activity" and uploaded as it used to so I think i'm fixed for new activities from now on.
However - and this is my problem I need resolving - the 2 activity's that are on the watch right now are quite important to me as they give me my new base level following the injury yet I cannot get them off the watch and onto Express! Can anyone help??

Exactly same problem here. Win 7/310XT.

Trying a system restore and hope I can turn off auto update :(

OK partial success.
- Removed Ant+
- Uninstalled Express with 'remove files..' ticked.
- reinstalled Express
- Plugged Ant+ back in

It the saw the Ant+ device and then synched after repair (which is a PITA itself). Still sees the Ant+ after reboot...

BUT: If I try to upload a course from Connect to 310 via Express, it starts the upload synch when it sees the watch, but then fails mid way through. Just reboot the PC, if you don't here back from me assume I've not fixed it !

If anyone else sees the upload issue/fixes it please report back!

edit: Yippeeee success. A bit of a PITA but....

- Master reset of 310XT
- Remove device from Garmin Express
- Re-pair device onto Garmin Express.

Uploads now work! Now to reset all my data fields displays...

- Remove device from Garmin Express,
- Uninstall everything,
- Reinstall everything,
- Re-pair device onto Garmin Express,
- Finally working...
... until Garmin next update ?

Thanks I tried few times to reinstall everything but it doesnt find my ANT+ stick. I even downloaded the old ANT agent from Garmin and that could find the usb stick and connect to my forerunner within a second. Guess the problem is using Windows 7

Same issue here, Garmin Express upgrade to Rev 4.0.16.0 makes me lose the connection to the Garmin ANT stick, so I can not uplade my data. Tried it on two separate Windows 7 PC. Both have the issue. Did send an e-mail to tech support. Seems a lot of people have issues so I expect answer fast. Let's see.

I'm having the same issue, im starting to get tyred of all the Issues i have had because of those Garmin "services". There should be a way to get the data of the Watch with via USB or something.
