Garmin Express version for XP?

Former Member
Former Member
Hi, I wanted to fill in into my previous thread about Garmin Express wont start but this was closed, why?

Ok, waiting for Garmin to come up with a fix for my Windows 7, 64-bit laptop I wanted to try to install Garmin Express on a old
compter I have. This one runs XP 32-bits but GarminExpress installer 4.0.13.0 says it´s not compatible with this OS.
Which version can I use for the XP and where can I find it?

Regards,
Tomas

    Only trouble.
Stuart, your link was ok but the download didn´t start.
Then I found out where to find it in some utilities department.
Took 27 minutes to install it and then it started right away, run the "get going" how to and plugged my 590 into the PC.
3.2.29 is not capable to find the device it says. It have run it 10 times. Giving up and pulled the cable, now the 590 is stuck
with the plugged in interface showing on the screen. Can´t turn it off. What shopuld I do (before battery runs out of power)?

Map updates on Windows XP are now using the Garmin Map Updater. If you visit http://garmin.com/express from a Windows XP computer, you should get the Garmin Map Updater and be able to update your maps. Let me know if you have trouble.
