The North American map came with my nuvi52lm. I purchased a map of Australia & New Zealand. The only map currently on my device is the North America lifetime map. I have an 8GB Micro SD card in my Nuvi. When I go to my orders, the Australia/NZ map is there. I then choose "install map." It searches for my device, and when I click on my device, it gives me the link to download Garmin Express. I already have express, and it will not list the Australia/NZ map that I purchased. Likewise, when I go to myGarmin > myMaps the only map displayed is my North America map. Clarifying: myorders shows that I bought the Australia/NZ map, but it will not show up anywhere else. BaseCamp only shows my North America map.
I have looked at your account and I see that you purchased a Onetime Map Update for Australia & New Zealand. The device you own doesn't have these maps to update from. A map update is used to update mapping that has already been unlocked to your device. You will need to contact product support and cancel your order and request a refund. If you are looking to add additional mapping that didn't come with your device then a full version of these maps must be purchased first. After a full version of mapping is purchased map updates can then be purchased down the line or even Lifetime updates depending on the maps.
