4.0.13.0 will not install

Hi there,

Tyler sent me here. I am trying to install 4.0,13.0 on my Win7 machine, but it constantly fails, details below:

I deinstalled my existing Garmin Connect install and tried to install the new version (4.0.13.0). I ticked the agree to Ts&Cs box, hit Install, Agreed to the User Account Control Pop Up and then I get a brief flash of a loading bar and then I get the message 'Failed. Try Again?'. If I try again it still fails, as does trying the install again. I tried Run as Admin, and that doesn't help. Let me know if you need any more details.

Any ideas?

    Have you tried all the troubleshooting in our FAQ Why do I receive a "Failed. Try again?" error message when installing Garmin Express on a PC?

    Thanks for coming back. I will run through each step tomorrow to be sure but just to say I haven't had an issue before. Before today I had 4.0.0.0 installed and it was fine. I did try again, a number of time, including just hitting the bottom again and also reinstalling. I have admin rights, it's a home PC (not a business PC) and I run Avast for virus checking and it hasn't been a problem with all Connect installs in the last 2 years.

    Anyway, thanks for coming back, if restarting and disabling anti-virus doesn't help I'll phone. by the way, is it 24/7 on the support line or US hours only?
