Express response slow

win 7 x64
I was happy with 4.0.7
but 4.0.11 and 4.0.13 are not very responsive......

with version 4.0.7 ..it will detect bt signal and sync fast
updated versions are just sitting there ..took 2-3 minutes to catch the signal and sync...

during the 2-3 minutes..the Connect is just sat there with no sync bar....

what had been changed.....?

    You can view the change log in the sticky at the top of the forums. Express uses ANT+ to transfer data wirelessly with a vivofit. When the device is in range, and has data to sync, the sync will start once it receives a good connection. Did you have any other wireless devices in range? Was Bluetooth enabled on a device within that range? These things can sometimes cause sync issues, or a delay in a good connection in order to start the sync. I would typically recommend when wanting to sync with an ANT enabled device to put the device on a table close to the ant stick, and then come back in a couple minutes to view the data in Connect.

  • I will try will only pc and vivofit on...and all bluetooth will be off..
    will let you know.
  • It is same slow responses......there is no other bluetooth around.
    Computer's wifi is "on" of course..

    I have to say 4.0.11, 4.0.13 is not the same as 4.0.7

    Garmin should have a previous version Connect depository so user can go back to working version.
