That is a Garmin Windows Service asking permission to start. Did anything change on your computer, any new security software or changes to your user account? After all the versions of Express you have had installed, it is odd that you would be getting that now. It is a permissions issue a few users experienced with older version of Express. Unfortunately the only way to resolve it is to uninstall Express. It is so rare that we have not been able to reproduce it in house nor identify one cause that would effect each reporting user.
As far as the vivofit is concerned. If you experience sync issues start by deleting the vivofit from Express and Connect then pairing it again.
Thx for your quick reply... yes it was weird...as 4.0.11 was started day before without such message. I did not change any uac... as long as it is a known observation..then it is ok to me...I checked Garmin folders and no virus..
took 6 times to get vivofit synced..more likely to be web traffic jam and time out issue.
I think we're talking about the same thing. I also have (had) that issue in 3.2.29. In fact, at one time I had it pop up as many as 3 times when my computer would start up. If you google the error, you will see that it's quite common.
It first appeared for me when I upgraded the maps on my Nuvi.
Interestingly, I just did my Windows update for March and the prompt didn't appear after I rebooted. That's the first time in years.
