login request in the middle of sync.. and sync fail (FR 610)

Hi.
I have FR610, with software 3.0 and latest version of G.Express, running on win 7.
Everything worked fine until saturday.
Saturday evening i tried to sync my activity, but while uploading i had a window popping up telling me that G.E. need to log in again. (User and pw are always the same.. And always worked fine). I logged in in that error-window and then sync failed. After that GE sync data only if i save a fake activity. But.. Fails again in the same way, asking me to log in.
I tried all ways: re install, clean FR, reset, delete device from GE, clean GE device folder and everything hinted in forum..
But i can't sync my device.
What is happening?

    There is an open ticket on this issue. The Logs did not reveal much to me so there is no obvious way to correct the issue. I have added you to the ticket and included your logs for the Express developers to review. You should receive and email as soon as a resolution is found.

    I had same problem with FR610.

    Today I uninstalled and removed EVERYTHING associated with garmin from my computer and installed Garmin Express 3.2.29.0 - Now it works again, no syncing/authentication errors, I'm happy again. I had that problem since thursday/friday. I'm not going to let this program autoupdate anymore.

    I'm temporary uploading activities in manual mode, because GE writes file in the local drive but it is not able to load in GC.

    So...
    • I open my local drive folder "C:\ProgramData\Garmin\CoreService\Devices\3864175489\Sync\FIT_TYPE_4"
    • Then I rename the file I want to load in GC, ONLY adding extension ".fit"
    • I open GC in browser and load the fit file.

    With this manual workaround.. it works..
    I hope that an update fixes very soon this annoying sync problem.

    I have been having the same issue for over two weeks now, I was hoping it starting working again, but it hasn't. Not being able to sync my information renders the whole thing useless and it is very frustrating. Garmin, you really need to fix this. I have been having so many connect problems in the last month since the updated software, etc.

    I am sorry that you are having trouble syncing. It appears that in some cases this is caused by corrupt files in the Express folders on the computer. You can try manually uploading the files as mentioned above (if there are any) and then deleting the C:\ProgramData\Garmin\CoreService\Devices\[Unit ID]\Sync folder to resolve the problem.

  • If this can help:

    1 - I installed latest G.E. version.
    2 - I removed all files again from "C:\ProgramData\Garmin\CoreService\Devices\[Unit ID]\Sync folder" .
    3 - I removed all activities again from my FR610.
    4 - I saved a new, 1st activity: "a real 30 min run"
    5 - I sync-ed .... AND IT WORKED!

    ok.. i already did this many times with 4.0.11 and 4.0.8 .. but now sync works again!
    From past times the only things that changed are:
    - GE version
    - we entered in "Italian +1h Legal time" since sunday 29/3
